Wood as a vocation
Schottenwood was founded in 2014 as a parquet company. Over the years it evolved into something broader: a reference brand in premium wood flooring, architectural cladding and exterior composite solutions. Today it operates under the concept Signature Flooring, with two clearly defined product lines — interior wood flooring and SCHOTTENDECK, the composite cladding and decking range for contemporary architecture — and one constant philosophy: the material defines the space. The brand is present in Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella and Mallorca.
Schottenwood Alicante was established in 2024 as the specialist for the province of Alicante. A new operation, backed by a decade of experience, an exceptional product catalogue and precise knowledge of what the Costa Blanca market demands: architects and developers who accept nothing standard, owners who want to get it right first time.

Not all European oak is equal. We select board by board, demanding colour consistency, regular grain and absence of defects. What we put on your floor is the best of each batch.

Wood and the Mediterranean climate
On the Costa Blanca, many owners hesitate before choosing wood. They worry that sea humidity, summer heat or winter heating will damage the floor. With the right material and correct installation, wood is perfectly stable in Alicante.
Optimal relative humidity
Our collections are designed to perform at 40–65% RH, which is exactly the typical range inside a climate-controlled home on the Costa Blanca throughout the year.
Comfort temperature range
The 15–35°C range specified in our data sheets matches the real conditions of most homes in the province. Wood works within its parameters.
Certified dimensional stability
The Large Format and Stratum collections have a maximum dimensional variation of ±0.20 mm per humidity point — a tolerance that guarantees stability under typical Alicante conditions.
Underfloor heating compatible
All our interior collections are compatible with underfloor heating systems. Floating installation allows the controlled expansion the system requires.
Certifications and guarantees
CE
European marking. Compliance with European Union safety, health and environmental requirements.
PEFC
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. Guarantee that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests.

Most stringent formaldehyde emission class. Our collections meet the most demanding indoor air quality standards.

Coverage area
We work throughout the province of Alicante. Our base is in Jávea, but we travel to any point on the Costa Blanca for technical visits and project support.
